Where to get ear candles?
I really need a good ear cleaning and I have seen the ear candles done...where can I get them like Walgreens? Cvs? Target? Kroger? Wheeeerrrreee Help < 3

Pros and cons of ear candles?
how does ear wax candles work

Has anyone tried ear candling? My daughter bought some ear candles-she thought they might help clear out ears?
HiI just wondered if anyone has tried ear candling? Is it safe?thanks for any information...

Where can i find a store that sells ear candles?

I can barely hear out of my left ear, i want to try ear candles.?
it has been going on for about a week

Has anyone found Hopi ear candles helpful with vertigo?
Thank you for your comments. Im unsure about this. Ive had 6 vertigo attacks in nearly 2 months, and ive been reading on the internet that it can help, willing to give it a try I think. Do you think the docs would approve?

Do ear candles actually work?

Can ear candles clear a wax blockage in the ear?
My right ear is currently blocked with wax and i can barely hear anything at all out of it. This happened once before and i went to the doctors and had it syringed, which fixed the problem straight away but i had to wait for a week because you have to pour olive oil in there for 5 days to loosen it up.A couple of friends told me about ear candling and claim that it really works, in a way i can see how it could do. But i've done a little research on the internet and it seems rather bogus now.Has anyone here had any experience with these candles and do you know if they work or are just a load of rubbish?I could do with my ear fixed for this weekend as i'm going to see a band on saturday, if i have to pour wax in my ear for 5 days before seeing a doctor then i will obviously not be cured in time. This only happened last night so it's just came on at an inconvenient time.

Need help convincing my mother that ear candles are bull.?
My mother has been ear candling for over 6 years a couple of times a week and has spent a hell of a lot of money on it.She has a facial nerve problem which is severe and real, but she thinks these ear candles really are drawing out all these bits of wax. Some of them could not possibly come out without hurting her as some of the pieces are long and pointy. People have been trying to tell her for the last 6 years that they are bullcrap and it's just the melted wax from the candle building up inside the hollow candle which she is mistaking for ear wax.I've had enough with it and I want to prove to her it's bull because she is taking it too far and she is using ear candles on her temples, and other flat surfaces of her face and she is claiming she is getting ear wax still. I have questioned her about it before nicely and asked her how can she get ear wax from inside her face without breaking the skin for these big chunks of wax to come out and she insists its ear wax.For the record, yes, I know she has mental problems, she has had arguments from my dad her ex husband , my sisters, me, her sister, her brother, all of us saying it's not really ear wax and she is being scammed by this shop selling them to her all the time.I'm thinking about just showing her a lot of articles on Yahoo answers and other websites but I do not know how to convince her since she has got it into her head for over 6 years she's really getting ear wax and it's apparantly helping. It may be helping, but it's only a placebo effect, she is not getting any real help. Please, any people who have had similar experiences with friends or family falling for this bullcrap ear candling trick. Any advice would be good............... the thing is though, the honey trick is perfectly safe to continue doing. Ear Candling is NOT.I have seen online things from websites about people being severly burnt, burning their hair off, one person screwed up with it and set their house on fire and died. My mum sometimes does this when I am not at home and she is alone, I fear for her safety, even if it is just a small burn on her arm, I also do not want anything in the house being burned. There is also the potential for melted candle wax to fall inside her ear canal and damage her ears. Paul A, I've found the wiki article and I have that ready to show her. I hope she can just open her mind to the possibility. Before, she wouldn't even open her mind to the possibility. Whenever anyone would approach the subject, she would get INCREDIBLY snappy and rude............... I found a website which done an experiment with using an ear candle on a person and and ear candle in a glass beaker or something and they both came back with the wax in the bottom of the candle which my mum thinks is ear wax. I am just nervous about doing this because last time I confronted her about something, she basically told me to leave because she is so narrow minded and won't listen to the facts.

I hear worse after using ear candles!!!?
I used harmony cone candles and it made me deffer It has done it before but it cleared up. It won't clear up this time though. I tried using another one and it didn't help. I tried olive oil, taking a shower and alcohol and nothing works I can't hear anything now What can I do?

Odd sensation in ear after using ear candles?
I used ear candles earlier tonight, one in each ear. I've used them several times in the past with no problem, no weird effects. But tonight when I was done with my left ear and took the candle out, my ear felt more plugged up. It almost feels like there's fluid in my ear and I can't get it out or stop the sensation. What could this be from? I can still hear just fine, and it doesn't hurt. Just feels plugged up.

Is ear candling anything to be scared of?
Okay, so my mom bought " ear candles" for my sisters and I, but I have NO idea what the hell they do to your ears. What do they do? Do they hurt? Will is make me go deaf? Should I be scared to have it done? Cause I sure as hell am scared to get it done PLEASE HELP ME

Where can i buy the candles used for ear candling?
i live in norcross, georgia and i was wondering if anyone could tell me somewhere nearby that sells these candles. thanks thanks for the input steve but you are wrong & i already got the answer i needed. they do work my dad used them. its not quackery.thanks to everyone else. im headed to gnc tmrw.

Ear candle question for you...?
When a person uses ear candles then cuts them open with scissors to see how much nasty wax and stuff they get out of the ear... what does the wax look like? Since it is heated up it changes texture and appearance... so is the wax the gross orange stuff that you get in the candle?Btw, sorry this question is disgusting, I know. p
