Tooth Extraction ~ What can I expect and is it healing properly?
I had 3 teeth pulled all top left furthest back last Wednesday. I am experiencing severe pain and there are a lot of hard bits possibly bone in the gums. The gums have receded quite badly. I just want to know if this is normal. I had my wisdom teeth out when I was 16, but don't recall the pain lasting this long, or being this intense. My dentist has me taking 2 antibiotics, 2 percocet and one toradol every 6 hours. I appreciate any insight. Thanks
Sprained MCL is not healing?
I sprained my MCL during a hockey game back in January of this year it is now May 2012 and I still feel the pain everyday. I was told it would be fully healed within 6 weeks with physical therapy. I can walk on it but it will get sore eventually. If I am playing hacky sack and I try to make an out word kick up in the air, I feel my knee slide out of place and I experience unbearable pain. I have tried to take it easy on my knee and quit running for weeks but it doesn't help at all. I am currently not in any sports but I know if I were I wouldn't be able to handle the pain. My knee slides out of place almost at all times that I am not flexing my knee muscles while standing. What I am meaning to ask is, Will I have to get surgery on my knee or will it ever heal. I havn't made any progress since Feb. Thank you, any feed back is appreciated I haven't seen a doctor since, I never had an MRI the doctor was very well known and prestigious
Is my tragus infected or just healing?
I got my tragus pierced a month ago. The first few weeks went great I cleaned it with a sea salt and water combination. Now there's a small red bump on the front. Is this a keloid or a blood blister? I do bump the piercing a lot. And there's a large scab on the inside of my tragus. I still clean my piercing. How do I get rid of this small bump? Is my piercing infected?
Can CoQ10 help with healing after wisdom teeth removal?
I heard someone say that taking 200mg of CoQ10 helped them greatly with healing after they got some teeth removed. I just got 2 wisdom teeth pulled. One was showing completely, and the other was hidden under a loose flap of gum. The extraction took less than 5 minutes while I was awake and it was pretty traumatic even with the numbing. It's now day 4 after the extraction and I'm still having to take Vicodin the ease the pain. But I only have 3 pills left which is only about 1 more day until I have to switch to a standard pain killer such as advil , so my question is, can this supplement actually help to achieve a faster dental healing? This pain isn't getting worse like dry socket but it's not getting too much better either, so I would like to speed things up so I can get back to my normal life
Does vitamin E oil work for preventing or healing chicken pox scars?
My son, age 14, has just gotten chicken pox. He is covered in spots and has quite a few on his face.With his mild olive skin tone I'm concerned about the scarring. I've been trying to find info on the internet and I see vitamin E oil has been recommended. Has anyone tried this for chicken pox and if so does it work?

Fast healing for blood blister?
I got a big blood blister on the bottom of my foot tonight from dancing barefoot. It hurts so bad to walk on it I have prom this upcoming saturday and I want it to be gone so I won't have extra pain with wearing heels. Any fast remedies to ease pain or heal it? I don't necessarily want to pop it, but i'll take whatever answers Also how long do you think it will take to heal?
How long will it take stitches to heal?
I had brain surgery for epilepsy 4 weeks ago. And I'm seizure free I have some stitches on my head that the doctor said will dissolve eventually. How long will it take? When will it heal? The part on my face is healing more quickly than the part on my scalp. It's driving me nuts
How long should a deltoid muscle tear take to heal?
I haven't been to a doctor yet, so I'm only just guessing at this point what the problem is. I'll try and explain this as much as possible. It's been about 3 weeks since I've had this dull pain in my upper left arm that hasn't gone away. I'm thinking at most it could be a minor tear, no bruising swelling because have had this pain for awhile now. I'm thinking that it's my deltoid, because it only hurts when I lift my arm up to the side with my elbow straightened out, and when I am either sleeping on my stomach, or when I'm leaning on it. Other than what I just described, I don't feel any pain in the location.My question is, how long should this be taking this to heal? I'm trying to not go to a doctor for as long as possible, but I guess if it doesn't go away soon I'm going to have to eventually go. Should this be healing on its own? From what I've researched, it could take any where from 2 6 weeks to heal, Any help would be appreciated
Will my gluten intolerance heal itself after I recover from bulimia?
I've been bulimic with anorexic tendencies for about four years now, and back in January '12 I discovered that my body would not properly digest gluten. I would get horrible stomach cramps, throw up, and or be rushing to the bathroom anywhere from 3 8 hours after I ate any wheat. I got tested for celiac and a gluten intolerance, but they both came back negative I had already been eating gluten free for a few weeks before I got tested, which could have made the results come back negative for both tests . I've been trying really hard to recover from my eating disorder, but I've been getting upset with myself because I feel like I did this gluten problems to myself, so I've been eating small amounts of gluten for the past few weeks. On Friday, I had a TON of wheat and did not have any reaction to it.Could my body be healing itself, and will I be able to eat gluten again someday?
Can hearing damage heal over time?
i experienced a beep once but it was different than the normal hearing loss beep, when a bad beep happens, i still hear it for a hour or 2 but with this beep it comes for 2 seconds and leaves and i found out that after this beep i could hear better understand people better . at new year i had a piece of illegal explosive explode near but not that near, since then i experienced a beep when im somewhere with some sound i dont hear it when i yawn when i yawn in my right ear. so my question is is this beep 'healing' and does hearing damage heal over time?
