Hopi ear candling for snoring -- does it work?
Has anyone tried this treatment for snoring?
My eustation tube in my ear keeps blocking and I can't hear. Would hopi ear candles help?
The problem is driving me crazy. I had a bad cold, then went abroad the air pressure in the aeroplane didn't help . My cold disappeared whilst I was away but I've had this problem of blocking and unblocking of my left ear since. I've also been feeling a bit unsteady on my feet every so often which I also think is a symptom and occasional pain. Trying to pop my ears or pinching my nose and blowing doesn't right the problem, it seems to stay blocked and go back to normal when it wants. I went to my doctor and he said don't pop your ears because that makes the problem worse, don't poke around in your ears because its not wax, its congestion stuck in the eustation tube. He said inhalation of crystals for a month should do the trick. 2 months have now passed, but I still have the same problem. Does anyone think hopi ear candles will help. Also, can I ever get rid of the problem or is it recurring?
Anyone ever had hopi ear candles?
I'm thinking of going to have hopi ear candles as I have terrible problems with wax build up in my ear and they're constantly crackling despite getting them syringed. Just wondered if anyone had ever had them and what they thought? I've heard loads of good things about them and also that it's a load of rubbish. Any thoughts would be much appreciated o I was thinking of going to get this done at a professional salon rahter than doing it at home myself if that makes any difference at all... S

Thank you for your comments. Im unsure about this. Ive had 6 vertigo attacks in nearly 2 months, and ive been reading on the internet that it can help, willing to give it a try I think. Do you think the docs would approve?
