I have just had my second reiki attunement and am feeling extremely emotional. Is this normal?
The reason for me trying reiki is because my boyfriend ended our relationship 5 weeks ago and I have not been coping and have spiraled into a deep sadness
Has anyone ever had an orgsam during a reiki attunement?
I just had my Reiki II attunement and it was very different from the first. It was much more intense and i felt almost breathless and i kept getting images of someone tying a rope around my chest very tight and then later in the attunement i had an orgasm? very confused is this normal? It was not serene or peaceful like the first attunement
How do you feel after reiki attunement?

I am booked in for a Reiki 1 attunement which is going to be four attunements over a whole weekend . The reason I feel so nervous is because I have heard so many stories of people having nightmares,seeing spirit and feeling ill detox after the attunements. The reiki master knows that I have had depression in the past and that I am concerned about this being brought to the surface?. He said he will keep this in mind and take things easy with me, he also know I worry a lot lol. Surely my body wont take any attunement that I cant handle??Thank you Sethspeak and thank you Olea thats a kind offer and I may well do that.
For Reiki Teachers: During a class when should a Reiki attunement be given? :)?
I am attuning one of my friends to Reiki tomorrow and although an informal class, i do want it to have some structure The thing that i am not real sure of at the moment is when to administer the attunement? Either in the beginning right away or more towards the middle after some of the Reiki subjects have been discussed. This is the basic set up I wish to teach by 1 Grounding meditation 2 Intro to the chakras, auras and general energy 3 Intro to Reiki history, theory, mythos, ect 4 ATTUNEMENT 5 More of an indepth look on Reiki hand positions, technique ect 6 Actual hands on practice this will be done with the help of some other Reiki practicioners to for a small reiki circle 7 Self Reiki Session techniques and practice 8 Further questions 9 Grounding Meditation How does that sound ?? Thanks NamasteI have been trained I do not wish to give a traditional class attunement though. That is why I am asking for your opinions
Reiki attunement charges?
If Reiki is universal energy,then this energy comes free, yes? then is there anyone who does attunements for free? i know everyone has to earn a living, but if what you are using is free then is it not right to give some treatments for free to balance this out?Kip i am fully aware how much it costs to become level 3 master at reiki but the question i am asking you is the energy that is used in reiki correct me if i am wrong is energy of a natural source and not your own energy, so if your using the energy from the universe then wouldnt it balance things out to give a little back??I am not saying that anyone who does Reiki shouldnt charge as everyone has the right to charge for a service that they have to offer. I feel this is a fair question to ask without being judgemental.
Reiki attunement Help please?
I am considering booking a Reiki attunement. I have two people to chose from but cannot decide? here are the choices 1 A well known Reiki master in my area, who has a good reputation.Who I had always felt drawn to? Has told me I would only need to do Reiki 1 as I am already a therapist? Two days course with four attunements.2 An Holistic school about 90min drive away, Who has told me you need to do Reiki two to become a Reiki practitioner? They offer Reiki 1 over one day with three or four attunements then you have to wait three months before doing Reiki 2 which is also done over one day with another one or two attunements? which I can do both reiki 1 and 2 for the same price as the Reiki 1 with the first choice. Any suggestions?
