Anyone out there ever been to a reiki crystal healing session and did it work for you?
i want to give up the booze before i loose my wife she says she would rather have a good hiding than go through the mental torture that i put her through when im drunk i have never physically harmed her and never would i love her more than anything on this planet but when i start drinking one is not enough and a hundred is not too many i have realised that what i am doing is not good for my health or relationship i need a bit of help its took a lot for my to write this so please constructive answers would be much appreciated dont need any p s takers

Is 'energy work' (e.g., reiki, crystals, auras) as effective as physical work, or just a crock?
For instance, I love being massaged and it feels very pleasing healing to be touched. But the non physical stuff...I don't know how or even if it does anything of consequence for me.I saw a website, 'reiki.org' a major online reiki resource. They described a " life force energy that can't be seen" and that " originates from God." I couldn't believe what I was reading. It sounded like faith healing in the 21st century. First of all, if you can't see something, doesn't it not exist? Second, if there is a God, does that mean reiki is only effective on believers j k ? Not that I don't leave open the slight possibility that just because we can't perceive something, it doesn't necessarily and definitively mean it can't on some level 'exist' if we're unwittingly limited in our human capacities. But medicine is a life or death science, and in my mind when people put their lives in the hands of health practitioners who mix science and religion and can't explain the mechanics behind their own methods especially if none actually exist , that's disquieting ground on which to be standing.
