session. Deep breathing allows access to the spiritual body. The
different states of the body can be penetrated with inhaling and
exhaling thoroughly. These states of the body also include the
emotional and mental body. While deep breathing and using the hands to
create focus a question or idea can be pondered. This question can be
anything the mind has been fixated on or the person wants to explore
more deeply. If the mind strays from this purpose the fire fingers
should be used to regain the tranquil state of body and mind. When
first starting out with Reiki meditation the sessions should be limited
to less than fifteen minutes.
Symbols and Emotions
Starting off in shorter session allows a person to find the breathing
and focusing methods that best suit the individual. The feelings and
thoughts invoked during the session may carry with one through out the
day. The power symbol is not the only symbol that is necessary for a
full experience. The distance and emotional symbol need to be drawn
into the consciousness. When the three symbols are realized then the
Reiki energy can be transmitted to other aspects of life. Negative
emotions can be addressed during meditation. The thoughts that are
detrimental to the mind can be confronted and smoothed. Those thoughts
and emotions that weigh down the mind and body can be reformed into
healthy emotional states.
When the meditator becomes more comfortable with the sessions then more
control can be exerted over the physical body and mind. The hands can
be used to channel the energy expressed during meditation from the top
of the head the toes. Again, deep breathing and keeping a central focus
is essential for maintaining the harmonious state. The more this
meditation technique is practiced the closer a person can come to other
levels of their being.
Visiting the Reiki principles and reminding one’s self of the
importance of the ideology can promote a positive lifestyle. If a
peaceful state is gained where negativity is turned into positive
energy then that positive state of being will translate into daily
life. Meditation clears the mind and allows a person to lead a positive
lifestyle. Reiki meditation can be the means to a healthier existence.
