Is this a good tactic to receive more reiki sessions?
I'm a reiki channel but I find it is much more healing practicing with other people than on my own.I'm considering using meetup.com to form a group to help this happen.At the moment when I go to a group reiki it is not all that close by and it is held at a centre that teaches reiki so prospective clients get first preference. This means I often give reiki without receiving one. It seems most reiki centres allowing people to come to receive reiki operate this way.I'd like to use meetup.com to meet other reiki practitioners so we can get to know each other and go to each other's houses to give each other reiki, maybe even 2 or 3 times a week. I think it may be too expensive to hire a room and buy the special tables. I was thinking one one.I've also considered using dating sites to meet other reiki channels for the same purpose.What do you think of using meetup to share reiki with people?What do you think of using dating sites for the same purpose?Any other suggestions for how I can receive more reiki from people?I live in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne Australia
During a recent reiki session, my head was very hot. I am now getting a lot of headaches. Anyone know why?
I did not have a headache problem before this. The practioner said that it felt like all the energy in my body was trying to rush out through my head. I did receive some very positive benefits from the session.
During my reiki session?
a strong smell of sweet peas came into the room.Why would this happen? Nothing was being burnt and there was no candles or flowers present?

First Reiki session, I didn't feel anything?
I recently had my first 1 2 hour reiki session. I have heard from people that have had reiki done to them that they can feel the reiki, and some people said it tingled. I didn't feel anything during my reiki session, except for when the instructor used the pendulum to find balance my chakras. Was I supposed to feel something? Is it possible that the instructor that did the reiki learned how to but had never had reiki done to her, so she was doing the right thing, she just couldn't do it? Mainly, was I supposed to feel anything when the actual reiki was going on?
Why does my back hurt when I'm doing a Reiki session?
i've noticed lately that my back really hurts while i'm treating someone with reiki. it' just under my shoulder blades, even when i'm sitting, what could it be?
