Reiki does not work in that way. Reiki is a one-way street from the Universe to the practitioner and then to the client. There is no flow of negative energy back to the practitioner. Two things could have happened: 1. It may be that the Universe gave you a message about the clients condition. Thank the Universe for the message and let it go. It does not belong to you. 2. It may be that the clients condition made you become fearful of your own health. This is only a personal fear. Give yourself Reiki whilst asking the Universe to clear you of this fear. As always, make sure you disconnect from the client after the session by giving thanks to the Universe that you were instrumental in helping the client. Wash your hands to signify the disconnecting the link between you and the client.
